the way life is a series of dots and dashes
the dots are the things that stand out.
the dashes are the long periods where nothing changes and looking back, you can't tell one day from the other. the days on which I've travelled I can remember clearly. all the days at this desk will seem one when I look back.
do you live more life if you're constantly changing, making marks and impressions on the record of the mind?
and what marks the boundaries between dots and dashes? what are the spaces, the turning points? sometimes you notice, sometimes you don't.
